1. Our position
We respect the rights of others and expect the same from you. Vital is not affiliated with or endorsed by Facepunch Studios. Rust, its logos and game content belong to Facepunch Studios or its licensors.
2. Reporting infringement
If you believe material on our site, Discord or servers infringes your copyright, contact us on our Discord and include:
- The work you say is infringed.
- Where the material is (a link, a message or a server and time).
- Your name and a way to reach you.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the owner, the owner's agent or the law.
- A statement that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.
- Your electronic signature (typing your full name is enough).
Reports that are incomplete may be delayed. Knowingly false reports can make you liable for damages.
3. What we do
We review the report and may remove or disable the material. We tell the person who posted it and give them the report details, less private contact data.
4. Counter-notice
If you posted removed material and believe it was removed by mistake, contact us on our Discord with: the material and where it was; your name and a way to reach you; a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification; and your electronic signature.
If the person who reported does not tell us within 10 business days that they have started a court action, we may restore the material.
5. Repeat infringers
We end access for accounts that repeatedly infringe.
6. Trademarks and other rights
For trademark or other IP complaints, contact us the same way and describe the right and the problem. We handle them case by case.
7. Our own material
Our site, code, data, designs and custom content are ours or our licensors'. Do not copy, scrape or resell them without written permission.
