1. Who we are
Vital ("we", "us") runs vitalrust.com, a Discord community and a group of community servers for the game Rust. Contact us on our Discord.
Vital is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Facepunch Studios. Rust and its logos belong to Facepunch Studios.
2. Accepting these terms
By signing in with Steam, joining our servers, using the site or buying from the store you accept these terms, the Privacy Policy, the Cookie Policy and the server rules posted on our Discord. If you do not accept them, do not use the services.
The version that applies is the one shown on this page, with its effective date.
3. Age
You must be at least 17 to use the site, the servers and the Discord. This is the age Rust is listed with on Steam. Facepunch's own terms set a lower minimum of 13, and we do not allow anyone younger than that under any circumstance.
To buy anything you must also be old enough to enter a contract where you live. If you are a minor, a parent or guardian must agree to the purchase and is responsible for it.
4. Your account
Your account is your Steam identity. Keep your Steam login safe. You are responsible for what happens on it. One person, one account: do not sell, share or trade accounts.
We may limit, suspend or end access for an account that breaks these terms or the server rules, or that we reasonably believe harms other players or the services. Bans are at our discretion. Permanent bans are only issued by our staff (see the Moderation page).
5. Rules of conduct
Follow the server rules and the Acceptable Use page. Do not cheat, use exploits, attack or disrupt our services, or try to reach data that is not yours.
Do not copy, scrape, crawl in bulk, mirror or reverse engineer the site, its content, its code or its data. Automated access to the site or its data, by bots, scripts or other tools, is not allowed without our written permission.
6. Store, packages and subscriptions
Purchases are processed by PayNow.gg, the seller of record. See the Cancellation page for who handles payments.
What you buy is a licence to use a feature, rank, kit, item or service on our servers for the period shown. It is not property. It has no cash value, cannot be sold or transferred, and ends if the server or feature is retired.
The store says what each item does. We do not sell any gameplay advantage that is not listed there.
Some items are monthly subscriptions. A month in the store is a billing period of 4 weeks (28 days), and PayNow bills a subscription every 4 weeks until you cancel. A subscription stays active to the end of the period you paid for.
We do not grant, sell or unlock Facepunch downloadable content or Marketplace items for players who do not own them, and we do not block items you own. Skins and cosmetics we sell are our own custom content.
Store
Items for a month: Bought once, they last one month (4 weeks). As a subscription, they renew every 4 weeks until you cancel. Anything a paid period includes is given once for that period.
Items with no end date: Bought once and kept while the server or feature they are for exists.
In-game ranks or kits: Kits can have a cooldown and a wait time per wipe.
Prices: Shown in US dollars before you pay. Any sales tax or VAT due where you live is worked out by PayNow at checkout.
7. Chargebacks
If you open a chargeback or payment dispute instead of contacting us, we may suspend the account, remove the items, and refuse further sales until it is settled. If the dispute is lost by you, the items are not restored.
8. Changing or ending services
Servers, wipes, maps, features and prices change. We may change or stop a feature at any time.
9. Content you give us
Messages, reports, screenshots and clips you send us, and what you post in chat on our servers or on our Discord, stay yours. You give us permission to store, review and use them to run the services, handle reports and enforce rules. Do not send what you do not have the right to share. See the Acceptable Use page.
10. Public information
Player statistics on the site are public. There is no option to hide them. There is no public ban list.
11. Our content
The site, its design, code, data, maps we create and our own custom content belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy, scrape or resell them. Facepunch content stays with Facepunch.
12. Fair play
We use automated systems against cheating.
13. Warranty and liability
The services are provided as they are. We try to keep them running but do not promise uptime or that nothing will be lost. We are not liable for indirect losses, lost game progress or lost virtual items, to the extent the law allows.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or takes away rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live, including in the EU, the UK and Australia. These terms contain no arbitration clause and no class-action waiver for consumers in those places.
14. Reporting and complaints

15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For a material change we give at least 30 days' notice on the site and on our Discord before it applies. Old versions are kept in the Legal Changelog. If you keep using the services after a change takes effect you accept it. If you do not agree, stop using the services.
16. If part of this does not apply
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
